Late this summer, VIDA San Antonio residents celebrated an important milestone for the VIDA community: the groundbreaking of VIDA’s pool and clubhouse. This much-anticipated amenity will be the perfect spot for residents to relax, exercise, and cool off during the hottest months, but also to gather, work, and hang out year-round.

The pool will feature a walk-in edge, splash area for kids, lap lanes, and open swim space. An expansive deck will provide ample space to relax in the sun or under an umbrella, overlooking the ancient oaks which line the Madla Greenway.
The clubhouse will feature a bright, open main living area with vaulted ceilings and a catering kitchen—perfect for community gatherings and casual hangouts. It will also include a meeting space that can function as a business center or remote work area.
Outside of the clubhouse there will be a covered deck with additional shaded seating overlooking the pool. Nearby trail access will connect the pool and clubhouse to the Madla Greenway, providing convenient access from all parts of the community.

Those who attended the groundbreaking also got a chance to view architects’ renderings of the amenities, which can be seen below. After the groundbreaking, the celebration continued at Ana Park—where residents enjoyed tacos, paletas, face painting, an inflatable waterslide, and other activities.
