In a recent article, the San Antonio Business Journal covered University Health‘s plans to work with SouthStar Communities, VIDA and Texas A&M University-San Antonio to bring much needed healthcare services to South San Antonio.

University Health has purchased land within the VIDA San Antonio community and SouthStar is excited to partner with them to bring their resources to a medically underserved area of the Southside. Programming and development at VIDA’s Town Center and Zócalo will be tied to health and wellness efforts of University Health’s new southside public health division.
